AR Thanga Kottai aka ARTK Golden Fort is a luxurious palace hotel with 105 Rooms. In every bit of the property, you can find lavish exteriors and luxury interiors. AR Thanga Kottai comprises one of the largest swimming pools in the state with mammoth measurements of 128 ft. in length.
The Creation 2008
Ramamurthy Anjeneyar is a businessman from Pallavaram, Chennai who has been in the hospitality industry for over a decade. His visionary and hard work paves the way to create more signature hotels like Chennai Residency, Cinema Scope Apart in Palavakkam, and Kumararaja Palace in the mountain of Yelagiri.
The Takeover 2018
Apart from this, he owns a Marriage hall in the name of Arul Murugan Towers in Pallavaram and a realtor brand in the name of Arul Murugann Promoters.
He is the person who gives more importance to a vintage kind of feel, which was the result in constructing Kumararaja Palace in Yelagiri, then he decided to build an extravaganza palace named "AR Thanga Kottai" which means "AR Golden Palace" in English.
Now 2026
As the name implies, AR Thanga Kottai is situated in a vast area of 10 acres with a built-up area of 60,000 sq. ft. You can find the luxurious interiors and extravaganza exterior for every corner of the property.
The rooms seamlessly blend the outdoors and the indoors to create a refined space to retreat and relax. Well-finished walls, exposed brickwork, handmade tiles on sloping roofs, rubble masonry motifs, and tasteful interiors with large windows let our guests experience the tropics from the comfort of the indoors.
